One of the brightest (briefly) that I've ever seen, awesome fragmentation at the end. Live near Columbus, Ohio. It was south/southeast from there. Lit up the sky even with a bright moon.

Remarks
The meteor developed a trail (or tail) as it got lower, it also left a light vapor trail afterwards.
Terminal flash
Observation
Yes
Remarks
It flashed extremely bright just before it fragmented/exploded. It was bright even in heavy moonlight. Was as bright as Venus while falling and was briefly near the magnitude of the moon when it exploded/broke up.
Fragmentation
Observation
Yes
Remarks
It looked like a small firework behind my house exploding as it fragmented. The cola/fragments that came out were about the size of the moon in diameter upon fragmentation.
