Apparently there have been several sightings of fireballs in the past few days (my husband just told me he heard about one on the news last night and some via word of mouth) but I haven't been able to find any info about these myself when I tried to research it.

Remarks
I saw the fireball leaving the store but it disappeared behind treeline. I drove a few miles to apartment where the sky is much more open to view and saw a very large smoke trail that I can only assume was from the fireball as it did not resemble something else such as a plane trail or yard fire, etc. I took a picture.
