I was walking home and just happened to be looking in the exact right spot. The meteor was so bright and looked so close that I even thought it could have been a firework/ bottle rocket set of from someone's rowhouse. The video does not do it justice. My first thought was a meteor and I stopped walking thinking it was going to crash nearby and tried to listen for a boom. it only lasted a second or two but was bright. I think I heard it fizz out too but I could be wrong on that.
