Reports Report 340ow (Event 340-2016)

Observer
Name John W
Experience Level 3/5
Remarks This was the most vivid fireball I have ever seen. The fireball came over my right shoulder as I was walking my dog toward the northwest direction, and was off to my right at maybe a 45 degree angle up in the sky. It was so very brilliant and colorful. At first I thought it was a firework, but I heard no launch percussion, but what made it special was that it moved slowly enough that I could watch it tragectrary, see a vivid ball of orange/red/bright white with a huge long tail, that never ended and appeared to go beyound the horizon. The whole visual only lasted 2 to 3 seconds, but long enough to take it all in. I expected to hear about it on the 11 o'clock news in Philly, but nothing. It was an Awesome experience. John
