| Remarks | I was inside my apt by the patio door that faces North when I caught sight of a bright green object in the sky. I turned my head quickly and saw this meteor for about 1 to 1.5 seconds before it disappeared over the nearby rooftop. It was a spectacular green color. As soon as I glimpsed it, I opened the patio door to see if I could hear anything. It was perfectly quiet, no airplane or helicopter sounds. I have seen the Hale-Bopp comet and Halley's comet. I have also seen a falling Russian satellite over Aruba on New Year's Eve. This was not as spectacular as those, but nonetheless was beautiful. |
