Remarks I am a birder so I just happened to be looking out the window because I heard a wren and I was looking for it. I found it perched on top of the fence to my south. Just a few inches above it (which would have been over the Santa Monica Mountains) was a bright aqua-to-turquoise colored (very colored) celestial movement like a shooting star but not fizzling out as it moved. It had appeared just above the mountains, so it appeared very low. It had a very long "tail" and the whole thing had the same amount of brightness throughout, from tip to tail--and it was somewhat long overall. It kept moving to the east or southeast until it went out of my sight behind a building (in my view). I don't know where it started or where it ended. It lasted so long (unlike the shooting starts I'd seen) that I had to find out what it was, and that's how I found your website.
