It happened so fast. I just caught something out of the corner of my eye that made me look. It was big and round with a tail. Did not last longer than 3 seconds. It went away as fast as it appeared. This is the second one I've seen in my life. I saw my first one in 1998 I think it was, and the tail to that ball of fire was much longer and lasted at least 3 seconds. It is awesome I have seen two now.

It had a tail, but it looked like the same color as the fireball thing I saw. It disappeared at about the same time.
