Remarks | Coming from high in the sky, traveling pretty much from true W to E the fireball was brilliant blue-green in color against a clear black sky with no moon in the sky at with a thin white glowing trail as it fell that quickly extinguished. Using the 1+1000 method of counting seconds I got to six seconds before it flared out in the lower East horizon area (about 30 degrees above E horizon). Pretty thrilling view through my vehicle's windshield as I was driving NE on US Rte 1 in Nobleboro, Maine! |
