Remarks We were looking for perseid meteors when we saw this bright light blue meteor (all others were white) which left smoke and fragmentation. I just spoke about it at a local observatory where they told me it could have been space debris, hence this entry. It came straight down in north direction low over the horizon. Was very different from any meteor I ever saw...
