| Remarks | The fireball started as a very bright, white light. I initially though it was a low-flying helicopter with a search light on. The fireball streaked across the sky from west to east but appeared to have 3 or 4 small pieces break off in the last few seconds I saw it. I don't remember a terminal flash, but the main fireball disappeared at approximately the same time the fragments did. The fragments appeared white. |
