I'm not good at judging magnitude. It looked a lot like a roman candle firework in size and intensity--very intensely bright green, seemingly ball-shaped.

We could tell it was leaving a train because it was lit up by the fireball--when the fireball went out, we couldn't see the train anymore. Perhaps light haze interfered with us seeing any persistent train.
