Remarks | I was walking on the sidewalk and when I looked at the sky, the fireball was directly in front of me in line with the sidewalk. It was brighter than any planet I have ever seen, bright yellow-white center with striking green surrounding it. It traveled directly to the left and suddenly disappeared in the clear night sky. It wasn't just a dot; it was a streak with a very bright leading point (the yellow/white with green). It may have occurred a minute or two before 10:15 pm; I was so surprised I called a friend who is into astronomy, and that call began at 10:16 pm. |
