| Remarks | I was a pilot on a commercial flight into LAX, arriving from the west, inbound to Santa Monica at approx 10,000' when the event occurred. I was sitting in the right seat facing east, and I perceived a bright light to my right (I thought it might be another aircraft coming straight at us). I turned to look, and saw the fireball descending rapidly, and disappearing. |
