Terminal flash
Observation Yes
Remarks As the object burned up it's "tail" became irregular, and there was a slight, but noticeable flash as it snuffed out. It also seemed to burn out for a slight moment before coming back as a larger burning ball. Think of a larger cantaloupe turning into a watermelon or basketball.
Fragmentation
Observation Yes
Remarks as it burned up, the tail changed from a somewhat uniform glitter, to a streak with a somewhat mangled appearance, but kept with within the confines of a shape, such as a lava lamp, only metal and rock burning at some ungodly high temperature. I say fragmentation because it appeared as if one of two small "Venus size/bright" fell away from the object. The changing of the tail made me think maybe pieces had broken away, or part of the object was comprised of a material that does not burn brightly when exposed to high heat.
