I was in a vehicle at the time I saw the meteor driving north on Daniels Hole Road. I was in the right front passenger seat with a very clear view of the road ahead and a large swath of sky over fairly low pine and oak woods. The terrain falls away in elevation apprx. 1000 feet ahead in the direction we were traveling. The driver and rear passenger did not observe the meteor when I pointed it out, despite the long trail and long duration of the light.
