| Remarks | I was in bed and the light was so bright it caught my attention. I looked up, then sat up and watched it finish burning. TV was on, so I don't know if there was anything to hear. I could only view the part of its descent as it crossed my bedroom window, but the angle was about 11 degrees off the flat and the burn was slow. I saw something similar years ago, look east. It woke me up with its bright light. It was blue and looked like it fell straight down from the sky and into the sea. I lived in Rockport, Maine and our house was on a hill facing southeast. I called the Coast Guard at the time because I thought it might be a flare. |
