Remarks I am a police officer and was driving home from my shift at 00:54 in direction indicated on your map. Noticed what I thought was a firework at first due to its very green color, then realized it wasn't. As it was traveling left to right in my vision I noticed a bright ball of green, leaving behind embers as it fell. I almost turned my vehicle to follow it, since at first I thought it could have been a crashing plane. Having watched some "shooting stars" at sea in my time as a member of the US Coast Guard I quickly associated the green color. This fireball was incredible.
