Remarks I was in my living room facing West. I saw the flash over the Mont Ste-Anne while I was facing it through the window. Being inside + mountain being very close to my house, I had a limited perspective of its trajectory. This bright flash radiated through the clouds. I looked like a lightning without the "z" type of shape... just a more homogeneous bright flash like what we call in French "éclair de chaleur", but 5 degrees Celsius outside and no drastic change in the weather, left me wonder... It is in the morning when I checked the weather on Weather Network that I found out some people in Ontario and Maine saw a fireball around the same period of time. Hope this helps
