| Remarks | I am not certain of the exact time of the event, only that it was early evening, a little after twilight. I have watched a meteor shower once before and this certainly recalled that experience, except that it was a singular event. Also it seemed very low in the sky somehow; i.e., it was more or less directly overhead but seemed to be low in terms of altitude. There were at least four observers and we all agreed it was mostly likely a meteorite. Hope this is helpful. |
