Observer
Name Gloria S
Experience Level 2/5
Remarks I was amazed at how long the trail seemed until it flashed and changed colors..it was kind of like striking a match and it quickly turns into fire. I saw kind of a spray of color immediately around it. It definitely went across the whole sky section visible to my eyes. It was so quick. NO sound that I could hear.

Remarks already looking up; saw white streak arch slightly(long trail)across western sky ..kind of ending up S.W. . as streak continues across sky, the front ball got bigger from whitish to yellowish and the like a fireball of light as it disappeared. I remember this date..it was two days before my birthday. And I said to myself that wasn't a shooting star, it seemed so close. I stood there for a minute...I couldn't believe what I just saw. I especially remember the fireball and how "close" it seemed to be compared to other streaks I have seen across the sky...but were much further away and didn't have a fireball. There was no sound, it was fast, and it glowed much brighter as it went out of sight.
Terminal flash
Observation Yes
Remarks the front ball started out as a definite white small glowing ball, got bigger really quick, and displayed a flash of yellow before a brilliant orange. I remember saying WOW! I just saw a fireball. just did not know where to report it.
Fragmentation
Observation No
