Remarks I do not know for sure if this thing reached the ground or not. My immediate horizon consisted of several buildings that obscured the last few degrees. Guessing by the speed it had to be moving at it was probably several miles away from me.

Remarks The brightness fluctuated somewhat rapidly. At first I thought I was seeing an electrical arc out of the corner of my eye but when I looked there were no power lines in my field of view and just saw this ball of light rapidly descend at an near strait-down angle.
