It was beautiful! I really thought that this thing was going to hit Hwy 95 or by the public pool here in town which is I think less than a mile away of where I was standing, I was in the parking lot of smiths after the gym(mad dogs) so I figure it will hit between me and the gym, and I waited because I was waiting for a shake or something like an earthquake if it hit, so I stop, stand, and prepare for it, you see, I have a bad back and I did not wanted to fall. Then nothing happened, I waited for a delayed sound or something, or other similar lights, but nothing, went to the back of my Xterra and sit there waiting for about 30 seconds to a minute, but nothing. Started walking to the grocerie store and a see a worker of smiths and I ask him: "Did you see that, a big comet in the sky, ?" He said no, that he was wondering what I was doing because he seen me walking then standing then sitting and he could not figure out what I was doing. I think he was on a break. It was not only the white long bright line but the long FIRE line at the end that was the most impressive to me, never seen anything like it, I think that the fire line was from my view about a football field long and the white line before it about double it size. Definitely make me feel so happy. I'm 47 years old. Thanks :-) |
