Remarks It was dusk, not really dark yet, and we were driving on a lonely rural desert highway near the California-Nevada border. The fireball was brilliant as it streaked across the sky in the twilight and disappeared behind a mountain peak then reappeared on the other side of the peak, continuing on until it disappeared for good behind another peak. It was moving very fast, yet it was visible long enough for me to say, \"OMG look! DId you see that?,\" and for my husband then to say (as it reappeared), \"I see it, oh wow!\" Truly amazing!!!!
