| Remarks | I had just opened our back door & immediately saw the objects in the sky directly in front of me. As indicated I only observed them for at most a second before they disappeared but with their size and speed together with the way they just "blinked" out and my previous experience viewing meteors as well as other aerial phenomena I have no other explanation for what I saw. I would just add that while I have seen other meteors both individually and in showers i.e. the Leonids, Perseids, etc these were the biggest and brightest I've observed personally, if very short-lived. |
