| Remarks | Just to be clear, I did not see a fireball, but from my position, there had to be one below the horizon. Several flashes occurred before the last and brightest one. I am really disappointed that I never heard anything. |

| Remarks | It was below the horizon the whole time (I was on the river in the Grand Canyon), but after a few flashes, there was an exceedingly bright flash that lit up about 30 degrees along the horizon, and about 10 degrees up from the horizon. I listened for several minutes, hoping for a sound, but never heard anything. |
