| Remarks | The things/questions that crossed my mind beside the thought that maybe it was a meteor: Oh, I just saw a shooting star! Was that a comet? Gee, that could have been a scud missle! Darn, I\'m in a car with the windows closed so I can\'t hear anything. What was that? Should I be scared? I wonder if anybody else saw that. |

| Remarks | When it first appeared it looked big and had a long train/tail as it moved in toward the earth at a downward angle for a landing. I only saw it for a few seconds, and it and the tail both looked bright white to me, and then in a few seconds it (with its tail) was gone! |
