| Remarks | This meteor started just to the left of Perseus, crossed overhead and vanished near the Moon, low in the Southwest Sky. The brightness was good but not unusual. The length of this meteor was extraordinary, nearly from horizon (crossing overhead) to horizon. Taking about 5 seconds to cross the sky, the smoke trail ran the full path of the meteor. Three of us saw it. |
