Delayed Sound
Observation No
Remarks Was driving along street...with window open...quiet street..not one single sound. Am very familiar with the boom sounds and airplane sounds since the airport is nearby. IT just \"quietly\" zipped across the sky.
Persistent train
Observation Yes
Duration 3.5s
Length -1°
Remarks fireball size = baseball size held up front of me..& compare to size I see in sky. Initial color..head of ball...yellow...then red/orange colors into flame w/ more yellow (flame distance would be approx. fist to midway up to elbow.....then into whitish trail very visible across sky above me..which would be longer than fist to length of arm...definitely longer.. I know I caught my breath the whole time. The \"smoky tail\" of the whole sighting didn\'t really start dissipating until the fireball disappeared out of sight...sw direction above me. I saw a very similar one from same geographical area, late summer /early fall, 2010..went high across Northeast sky and disappeare into the NE...N sky going downwards....only approx 2 sec. sighting, then.
Terminal flash
Observation No
Remarks Neither....the firey ball simply disappeared well above horizon in S. SW skies...like something swallowed it up.....at least 80 degrees.
Fragmentation
Observation No
