It was a large glowing orange ball and I thought it was part of the recent meteor shower until I saw an article about fireballs. This was nothing like the meteor shower. Those streaks were all white.

A glowing train that looked like sparks. I was at 6,000 ft. altitude looking for the comet shower. The fireball was at eye level going from left to right.
