Remarks | Seen while I was driving south on dark, nearly ridge-line rd. I saw more than friend (exp 3); we agree on direction. Some confusion about time: we're working out by text. Maybe 1" dark tail? Ball at least as big as end of yellow pencil's eraser. Seemed barely above eye level. SF Astronomy club may've been able to see: they were setting up an hour plus earlier but were easterly and higher on the same mountain, Mt. Tamalpais. Ball aabout as bright as the green "submit" button here on my 1-short of-full-brightness, non-Retina, mid-2012 MacBook Pro laptop. Experience: ASTONISHING. surprised it wasn't in the news. |
