This would have been spectacular had it been at the zenith. I just looked away from my eyepiece when I caught it so I did not catch the beginning. Wouldn't be surprised if it was 5-6 seconds in entirety. I caught about 3-4 seconds worth. I saw it just east of Fomalhut at about the same elevation. I estimate line of site from my loc to be west of Cleveland OH.

Appeared as a orange line that grew in length before disappearing. Orange no doubt due to atmospheric effect low view angle. I could barely resolve fragmentation but it was there no less.
