Remarks The initial flash got my attention. I thought it was heat lightning. I looked up and saw the meteorite streak across the sky. Another less bright flash about halfway through the visible event.

Remarks I believe the second flash was a result of the meteorite coming apart. It appeared as if the meteorite split into two pieces about halfway through the visible event.
