it seemed like it must have been low because it came through the clouds, which were dense and blocking out all the stars. i feel like a beard "fffsshh" kind of noise as it disappeared but i can't be certain because i was in a conversation with two other people (neither of which noticed the fireball). this was amazing and the first time i have ever seen a fireball in person in my life!
