| Remarks | I would ask for any security video that faces south from the Rochester NY area, it should show up very well. I was in my car headed south, saw it clearly right in front of me! The initial bright flash was very high (nearly straight up) and illuminated the entire sky. About a second later the fireball appeared to fall from that flash area. |

| Remarks | There was at first a blinding white flash nearly straight up, then the fireball fell in a streak straight down. The ball was far wider than any streaking meteor I'd seen. It first appeared about 45 degrees up then flashed out about 15 degrees from the horizon. |
