Remarks I am out almost every night stargazing; this was not the best FB I've seen but it was spectacular in its own right. Been doing this for 47 years. All year, not just summer. Love it!! Saw/heard it due south to east southeast. That was my yard and barn. Love google. Any idea how big it was?

Terminal flash
Observation Yes
Remarks I was looking at Pegasus/M32 when I first saw it from the corner of my right eye, over my barn; due south. Traveling east it was pink-green-yellow, going from dime size ball shape to at least a 5 in long tail, with shrinking, color changing ball. just before hitting horizon is shrunk in on itself with maybe a half inch trail of fragmentation. It was beautiful!!
Fragmentation
Observation Yes
Remarks about 2 inches above the horizon the fireball seemed to swell for a second and then shrink in on itself while fragments flared off it.
