We were seated out doors just below the Niagara escarpment facing south -south east. it may have lasted a little more than 10 seconds as I recall we got up and tried to follow its path by walking to the edge of the parking lot. It disappeared from view above the Niagara. Escarpment (tree line) in an south eastern direction. The tail looked like smoke and the ball was white and very bright. Was moving much slower than any shooting star. Very cool!!
