Remarks | I was with 2 others who also saw this. It didn't streak across the sky, it seemed to fall in a straight line, then broke into two. We were worried it was something else, not a "falling star", but a plane accident, especially after it broke into two pieces. We were out on our paddle boards, so the time is approximate, it could have been later, we didn't have a watch but we were off the river by nine p.m. We were going up river and the fireball was almost directly in front of us, maybe off to the 1 o'clock position. Hope that helps. |
