| Remarks | A bright flash first caught my eye. I then focused on the meteor/fireball as it was moving from west to east across my line of vision. There appeared to be a bright tail which suddenly died out much like a light being switched off. I then followed a much smaller, what appeared to be a spherical object, as it disappeared from my field of sight. The entire time that the fireball was noticeable, it appeared to be losing altitude but I lost sight of it after it disappeared behind some tall trees. What was most amazing was how close it appeared to be. I understand it actually crossed Georgian Bay but certainly to crossing Mississauga towards Toronto. |
