Reports Report 3853d (Event 3853-2016)

Observer
Name Matthew M
Experience Level 3/5
Remarks I've seen a number of fireballs in my life but this one was the most impressive event as it took place while the sun was setting and there was yet to be stars out and the meteor displayed a very bright white light and turquoise color and would occasionally leave a small trail. The event lasted what felt like 30 seconds I spotted it at the top right of my windshield and I had to turn my head to follow it. The last 5 seconds of the event, because of the angle I was on the meteorite was a little obscured by trees but I confirmed it disappeared. but I really felt like it was low in the atmosphere as high as a jet would fly but this object was traveling 5 times grater than a jet.
