Remarks Was driving into work southbound on the GW Parkway, this appeared pretty much over Alexandria appearing (due to perspective) to burn out over the Potomac River / DC. What made it even weirder was that a plane had just taken off from DCA so the contrast in light and direction added to the "holy wow..." factor because it took a hot second to process what I saw.
