Observation Yes
Duration 1s
Length 15°
Remarks saw what looked like black smoke slightly at the very top of the line or train which continuing down the path of the train was yellow into orange into a deep orange, then suddenly yellow to bright white. basically the wavelength of burning magnesium. white hot! and the whiter it got, the bigger the ball at the end seemed. suddenly approx 5 or so degrees from the horizon, the ball looked as if if disipated rapidly then suddenly vanished.
Terminal flash
Observation Yes
Remarks as i said the ball got bigger and brighter and suddenly vanished. it looked as if it were litterally miles away, as a frame of reference i would use the willow grove air base, which is approximatly 5 miles from where i stood and in the south south east direction from my vantage point. as a result of the distance, i was unable to see any fragmentation. at first i thought it to be a plane going down but then the white hot ball at the end and the vanishing lead me to believe it was a meteor.
Fragmentation
