I was heading east on RT 100 near RT 295 in the vicinity of BWI airport. The flash appeared in my windscreen just below ceiling level. It came and went very quickly. The flash was about the size of a soccer ball. The flash crossed my view from south to north (.just in case i got earlier info entered in error)
