Reports Report 3903g (Event 3903-2016)

Observer
Name Tracy C
Experience Level 1/5
Remarks I was turning onto River Road from Missouri Drive heading north toward the I-10 bridge and suddenly saw the meteor low on the horizon coming across the levee but before the Baton Rouge Mississippi River bridge (or at least it appeared so). It had a small tail. Very bright white with some blue/pink in the tail. Seemed like something between softball and soccer ball sized. It was quick but almost blinding. The trajectory was relatively flat (a little decline). It actually disappeared behind the trees almost like it would have landed on the other side of Highway 1 although I know this things may be much farther away than you think.
