Remarks The time of this sighting was at 12:35 PM Eastern time US. The weather conditions were partly cloudy. My location was N39.823333, W75.871667 (based on my car\'s GPS which I consulted to just after seeing the object). I was facing East based on my car\'s compass. Based on my heading, the object appeared to be heading in a Northerly direction. The head was a very bright yellow, on the order of looking at a car\'s headlights on the bright (i.e., high beam) setting. The tail was a slightly darker yellow and flickered like fire. it was approximately 10 degrees long. I observed the object for about 1 - 2 seconds and appeared to be traveling at a high rate of speed approximately 10 - 15 degrees from vertical. The object quickly disappeared behind some trees and its tail disappeared right afterward.

Delayed Sound
Observation No
Remarks I did not hear any sounds that I could associate with this object.
Persistent train
Observation No
Duration -1s
Length -1°
Remarks I am not sure if this qualifies as a \"train\" but the object did have a glowing \"tail\" which flickered like fire as it streamed behind the object. It was a little darker yellow than the head. Based on the estimator on this page \"A fist held at arm\'s length is approximately 10 degrees\" the tail would have have been approximately10 degrees long. It didn\'t persist (I didn\'t observe any smoke) but disappeared right after the object disappeared behind the tree line The object itself was heading in what seemed a northerly direction (based on my car\'s compass which indicated that I was facing East at the time) although it was only 10 to 15 degrees from vertical.
Terminal flash
Observation No
Remarks As the object disppeared behind the tree line, I did not see any flash or fragmentation. For the second or so that I observed the object, it appeared to be in one piece. If there were multiple fragments, they were very close together.
Fragmentation
Observation No
