| Remarks | A thrilling observation. Glad it was mother nature and not an aircraft problem. No aircraft were observed anywhere near the area where we watched this object fall from the sky. Signed, Newark air traffic controller |

| Remarks | Silver streak trailed by red train, almost flame like. Observed from 325 foot control tower at EWR by 4 air traffic controllers. The tower cab faces east. All of us watched this object descend over what appeared to be the Bayonne, NJ area. We tracked it visually in line with the Verrazanno Bridge, southeast of Newark Tower. No radar return was displayed on our scopes. |
