| Remarks | I've seen plenty of 'shooting stars', and this was clearly not an airplane as there were planes in my field of view overlooking manhattan. I was cresting the bridge, looking at the moon (heavy traffic) and saw it streak from what appeared SSE to NWN or thereabouts. It lasted roughly 8-9 seconds and burnt out like a candle out of wax. It had a greenish hue along with the white and was moving much faster than the planes. |
