| Remarks | I consider myself a trained observer as I am a former USAF officer and pilot. Unsure of status of object in terminal phase as my vision became obscured by vegetation (trees).I was driving nearly due west up a road (Sussex Turnpike) through Shongum Mountain.I observed the object moving fast nearly parallel to the horizon from left to right (south to north) at roughly 30-35 degrees elevation, accounting for the uphill slope of the road. As the road I was travelling on is cut thru the mountain, sloping uphill on both sides of the road, my field of view was already limited, made even more so by large trees on both sides, as the area I was driving thru is mostly wooded. |
