Driving north on VA Rt. 42 towards Broadway when wife noticed it out of passenger side window but out of my field of view... I saw the fireball enter my field of view at the top of the windshield on the passenger side of the car... light pinkish red in color but then immediately turned to green and then a pale green as it traversed across the sky. The fireball had a very flat trajectory, and burned for approximately 5 - 6 seconds going behind a small cloud briefly and then reappearing on the other side. The fireball finally extinguished itself after crossing almost all the way across the front windshield in front of us.
