| Remarks | I've watched the skies for 30 years and I've never seen anything like this! Definitely not a "shooting star" - this thing was coming down! From my point of view, the whole thing including the tail was about 3-hands (12-14") long. |

| Remarks | The meteor was white-hot. The trail light shifted from that to orange-red, then red. The very end of that tail was fragmenting, leaving small pieces behind, which cooled off and disappeared gradually. |
