I have seen a lot of shooting stars and deliberately observed meteor showers before but I have never seen anything as bright as this with notable orange colouration and such a distinctive and long lasting tail. It was moving very fast but had the brightness of a lantern balloon seen at close range.

Straight bright line following the bright spot, did not linger after the bright spot had completely disappeared. It was like a tail .
